Macro photography is amazing…I love how you can see all the finest details on the simpelest things. While I was watering my flowers this morning I saw something beautiful..So I rushed in the house grabbed the camera, the gorilla pod, wireless remote and changed lenses. Here’s what I got.
And this little guy was one of my first victims, mwahhhh…
I met another sweet family for a family/maternity shoot. This time we met at the UC Davis Arboretum, another great location for photo shoots! I can imagine what this place looks like in Spring when all the flowers are in full bloom and in the fall when the leave start changing colors! It was a nice afternoon as we walked along chatting and shooting. It was a pleasure meeting this family, hopefully I will get another chance to photograph them when the little one is born.
OMG, isn’t this face just too precious for words!!!
I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing this lovely family last month. This was fun it being a family/maternity shoot, my very first maternity, yay. We met down in the Old Suisun Harbour and it turned out to be a beautiful day. Thanks guys, I had fun working with you. I hope to meet that precious little girl when she’s born!
Trying to play catch up on blog posts while on vacation from my day job…Meet Nick, my nephew, isn’t he handsome! I was so honored to be the one to take senior portraits for him. I can’t believe he’s a senior and driving already, I remember the day he was born. Just goes to show you have time flies! I will be going through this real soon with my own teenager = (..
I had the pleasure of photographing a friends family recently.. Mrs. J. wanted some family portraits before her daughter went away to teach in Germany for a year, possibly two after graduating college. What a beautiful and loving family they are, of course I only saw the beautiful and loving part, lol…The kids were so cute and you could see the bond they had with each other…Here are just a few from that day, I hope to post more later….
I know, it’s been a while since posting. I’m so bad at blogging I sometimes think it’s just not for me…Oh well, here it goes. I was so excited, I got a new chair! Zebra print, how cool is that! So, of course, I loaded it up and my daughter and I drove down the road to try it out. We found this cute little vinyard, shhhh, I know we were trespassing but I don’t think anybody cared or atleast I hope not. It was just before the “golden hour” which in photographers terms is 1 hr before sunset or 1 hr after sunrise…The sun was setting and the colors were magical…
Our second time around was a great success, I even got some smiles this time! I really enjoyed photographing Miss E. she is such a doll…Mom and Dad, enjoy your sneak peek…
Our attempt to have a family shoot wasn’t flying with little miss E. It was hot, late and some strange lady in your face doesn’t help, lol..Being a mom myself and knowing how stressful it is getting your little one to cooperate for pictures, it was decided to try an earlier time of day… Hopefully little miss E is more of a morning person. I can’t wait to get some more shots of those big brown eyes…
I was honored to do my first Senior shoot for my friend Stacey and her Son Darin. I felt comfortable and relaxed for my first senior being it was someone I knew, I wish I could feel as relaxed with every shoot. I guess in time, as I get to be a more confident photographer these insecurities will disappear. Thanks for letting me be a part of this special time and congratulations to Darin and the class of 2010!
I had a great time photographing this lovely young lady this past weekend in her prom dress. Not only is she gorgeous, she is one heck of a dancer! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek Miss R.
